About the owner:

Bill Hiland has been a lifelong MG and British car enthusiast since owing MG's from the early 1960's to his present collection of  MG's. After retiring from competitive world class sailing and being a successful entrepreneur of a small Silicon Valley semi-conductor Equipment company, Bill decided to apply his engineering, project management and business skills full-time to the restoration of British sports cars.  Years of designing, building and maintaining multi-million dollar sailing yachts around the world has given Bill a unique ability to manage the details of complex restoration projects.

Who We Are

On the Road Again Classics was started by Bill Hiland, a collector of MG motor cars. Bill's vision was to create a top quality,full service, restoration and painting company that specifically caters to owners of classic  British  automobiles.

Our Master Mechanic Lawrence Farmer is from Oxford in the  UK and completed his mechanic's apprenticeship at British Leyland located in Abbingdon, UK, home of the old MG factory.  Lawrence has over 40 years of experience with restoring and racing British and other European cars including being on  Le Mans racing teams.   Lawrence also owned his own race car building and restoration shop.
